Seven Desirable Lamborghinis Go Unsold At Mecum Seattle

If you’re anything like us, you’ll take one look at Mecum’s list of cars which were on offer at this past weekend’s Seattle 2015 auction and start drooling. Some of our favorites included a 1967 Porsche 912 and 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Roadster, but some of the cars from Roy Cats Lamborghini Collection sold at the auction definitely take the cake. That’s why we were surprised when only one of the rare Lambos sold.

Cats, who owns an exotics dealership called – you guessed it, ‘Cats Exotics’, attempted to sell off eight of his Lamborghinis at Mecum Seattle. No matter which type of Lamborghini you like, new or old, Cats probably had something on offer that would appeal to you. Our favorite is his 1989 Countach 25th Anniversary, a similar example of which made an appearance in the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ movie. This was one of the cars that didn’t sell, however, with only his 1999 Diablo Roadster finding a new home.

After only one car found a new owner, Cats’ 1 of 42 2010 Murcielago SV, a 2001 Diablo VT 2009 Murcielago LP640 Roadster and 1992 Diablo are still up for sale. If you’re interested in any of them (and want to be our new best friend?) follow this link and maybe Mecum can work something out for you.
