2017 Ford Fusion Leaked Through Ford Corporate Document?

We’ve known since April that Ford has an updated version of its Fusion mid-size sedan in the works. That was when we first saw spy shots of the facelifted Fusion, and now, it appears the finished product has surfaced in an online corporate document from the automaker.

A sharp-eyed Autoblog reader caught what is presumed to be a photo of the 2017 Fusion within a Ford document addressing supplier sourcing, supplier relations and other aspects of its ‘One Ford’ plan.

When we saw spy shots of the Fusion in the Spring, only its front and rear ends were covered in camouflage, suggesting the changes would be exclusive to those areas. This photo backs up that bit of intel, showing a restyled front end with a new grille, headlights and fog lights. We can also spot what appear to be new wheels on the 2017 model.

Ford may show its 2016 Fusion at the Los Angeles Auto Show in October, or perhaps at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this coming January. For now, you can drink in the details of the facelifted four-door in the photo above.
