The 1995 Bugatti EB110SS Was Way Ahead Of Its Time: Video

Last week we ran an article on an absolutely stunning example of the legendary Bugatti EB110SS that is to be auctioned off at RM Sotheby’s upcoming London auction. When looking at photos of the ‘90s supercar, we envisioned lowering ourselves into its rhubarb-red carbon bucket seats, gripping the sporty three-spoke steering wheel and ripping the car down Germany’s Autobahn or a curvy canyon road.

Chris Harris doesn’t have to have such fantasies, though, as he got to drive the eye- catching lemon yellow EB110SS for real. In typical Chris Harris fashion, he doesn’t take it easy on the Veyron precursor, drifting it through windy bits of road and allowing the 603 horsepower quad-turbocharged 3.5-liter W12 to truly stretch its legs once the pavement straightens out.

Watching Harris have his way with the EB110SS is unfortunately the closest we’ll ever get to slinking behind its wheel and going for a drive, but at least it’s entertaining. Check it out in the video above, and if you’re in the London area, you can see the car go to its brand new owner at RM’s London auction on September 7, 2015.
