$95k Limited-Edition Neiman Marcus Mustang Convertible Announced

Every year, the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book contains a custom car as its “ultimate” fantasy gift. This year’s limited-edition set of designer wheels was just announced: the Neiman Marcus Mustang convertible, possessing a supercharger, 700+ horsepower, and a whole lot of visual enhancements.

Weighing in at around $95,000 (excluding taxes, delivery and handling), the 2015 Neiman Marcus Mustang convertible is loaded with Kooks long-tube headers, a supercharger, lowered suspension, Magnaflow side exhaust, and a custom-colored supercharger. The top speed is a claimed 195 miles-per-hour, while acceleration up to 60 mph has dropped to just 3.5 seconds. That’s thanks, in-part, to bits like a custom carbon fiber tonneau cover with speed arches, lightweight seats, a Lexan windshield and door windows, and performance tires from Nitto.

There is one notable error on the Neiman Marcus Mustang webpage, however; the site incorrectly asserts that the car is equipped with all-wheel drive. That detail seemed far-fetched to the folks at Autoblog, so they reached out to both Ford and Neiman Marcus for comment.

Both companies confirmed that indeed, the Neiman Marcus Mustang convertible is not equipped with an AWD drivetrain.

Oh, well. Apart from taking delivery of an exclusive, one-of-one-hundred Neiman Marcus Mustang convertible with gobs of power and grip, included in the sale is a two day Ford Racing School course. So, not only do you get one heck of a potent pony, but also, the knowledge and experience to ride it properly.
