Frankie has always been fascinated by cars. As a youngster he obsessively played the Need For Speed video game series, and spent countless hours in garages as his dad tuned up the family vehicles — which, for the most part, have always been from General Motors. While other interests developed or disappeared, his passion for cars remained a constant.
During the completion of his undergraduate degree in English at The Pennsylvania State University, he began his dream job as an automotive journalist. He is currently completing a masters program in Secondary English with PSU, but clings to his love for cars through his writing and competing in SCCA solo autocross events in his 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero. Frankie dabbled in the world of Plasti Dip, and has some wrench time from maintaining and tinkering on his own vehicles.
