Aston Martin Officially Teases Lagonda Super Sedan

Aston Martin released good news and bad news on Friday: the good news is that a new Lagonda sedan is coming. The bad news? It will only be sold in the Middle East “as a result of specific market demand.” The hallowed British brand released a teaser image of the Lagonda that leaves us wanting to see more – much more.

According to Aston Martin, the Lagonda will be offered to customers in the Middle East by “invitation only.” Buyers will receive a sedan with a design that clearly pays homage to the Lagonda sedan that was produced from 1976 to 1990. Riding on the firm’s venerable VH platform, the new Lagonda will use carbon fibre body panels in its construction. As such, we expect weight to be relatively low for such a large sedan.

Aston Martin isn’t talking price either, only relaying that “the asking price will be commensurate with the car’s exclusivity, quality and luxurious nature.”

Keep your eyes on Motrolix as we will keep you informed with news on the Lagonda sedan as more details emerge.
