‘Ram Nation’ Group Of Truck Owners Volunteering To Help Flood-Stricken Texas

A convoy of like-minded Ram truck enthusiasts – part of a group dubbed “Ram Nation” – entered flood-stricken areas of Texas on Tuesday to deliver supplies and lend a helping hand to residents in need.

Ram Nation bills itself as a grassroots organization, made up of proud Ram truck owners with a volunteering spirit. In Texas, they helped to clear debris, and distribute food, water, and other supplies around the areas of San Marcos and Wimberley – all with their personal trucks, of course.

The Ram truck brand, through the FCA Foundation, has donated more than $300,000 to-date to the efforts of the First Response Team of America, including a $100,000 donation announced just last week. The First Response Team is the organization which worked with the Ram Nation convoy Tuesday, overseeing the volunteers’ efforts. FCA and its Ram truck brand have had a partnership with the organization since 2012.
