Roush Extracts 747 RWHP From 2015 Mustang GT: Video

With some cars, it’s only a matter of time before the tuners get their hands on it and begin fiddling with every part they can, both inside and out. This is true for the new Ford Mustang, which has already been tuned up by several shops, including MMD/Foose, Hennessey and now, Roush.

The 2015 Roush Mustang features the tuning company’s Stage 1 2.3-liter supercharger, an upgraded 75mm pulley, aftermarket fuel injectors, a fuel pump booster kit and some tweaks to the engine electronics. The result, as proven by the video below, is nearly 750 horsepower at the rear-wheels.

Making the feat more impressive is Roush was using stock catalytic converters, stock manifolds and 93 octane pump gas when dyno testing, meaning this Stage 1 setup could produce a lot more power if it was allowed to breathe a bit more.

Check out the video below to see what Roush’s Stage 1 kit for the Mustang can do, and sit tight as the company works on Stages 2 and 3.
