Ford Motor Company’s June sales in the United States totaled 194,114 vehicles — representing a 13.6 percent increase compared to June 2010. Sales of Ford vehicles totaled 186,753 units, up 20 percent year-over-year, while those of Lincoln totaled 7,361 — a 16.5 percent improvement. These numbers make the Ford brand the most popular mainstream marque in the country (even ahead of Chevrolet, which moved 156,848 units).

Ford
The all-new Ford Focus moved 21,385 units, a 41 percent year-over-year increase
Fiesta was responsible for 5,535 sales, resulting in a whopping 438.4 percent year-over-year boost
Fusion sales totaled 20,808 units, up 13 percent; this marks six consecutive months of record sales numbers for the Fusion
The all-new Explorer was responsible for 10,422 sales, up 56 percent year-over-year
Escape sales totaled 22,274, up 43 percent year-over-year
Edge sales came in at 9,663, up 18 percent year-over-year
F-150 was the top-selling vehicle in the U.S., with 49,618 June sales. The V6-powered F-150 continued to outsell its V8 brethren, with the six-bangers accounting for 56 percent of F-150 retail sales. Meanwhile, the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 accounted for 41 percent of F-150 sales, with the 3.7-liter accounting for 15 percent
Transit Connect saw an impressive 40 percent jump to 2,992 units
Mustang sales were down 1.5 percent to 8,835 units
Flex was down 30.3 percent to 2,334 units
Lincoln
MKZ sold 2,360 units, experiencing a 31 percent year-over-year increase
MKS was up 18 percent year-over-year with 1,214 units
The recently-freshened MKX was up 35.6 percent year-over-year to 1,771 units
Unfortunately, the rather “interesting” (as we like to call it) MKT was down 24 percent to a measly 395 units
