Ford India Moves 10,789 Vehicles In January

After introducing the EcoSport concept at Delhi Auto Expo 2012, Ford India reported total vehicle sales of 10,789 units in January 2012, a slight increase from January 2011 sales of 10,026 units. Of the 10,789 vehicles sold in January 2012, 9,137 were sold domestically while 1,652 were exported.

Ford’s objective for the last several years has been to maintain sustainable long-term growth in the country while aggressively expanding. One of the ways it will do so is by bringing eight new vehicles to Indian consumers by the middle of the decade.

Additionally, January marked the expansion of Ford’s dealer network to more than 200 locations in more than 110 cities in India, allowing The Blue Oval to deliver “world-class customer service” to shoppers and clients.
