Ford Teases New Trim Level For 2013 F-Series Super Duty

Ford’s F-Series Super Duty trucks are a big deal. Not only is the line a big seller for The Blue Oval, but it also is the most-powerful, most-imposing, and — frankly put — the most bad-ass truck on the road. That being the case, it’s more than understandable that Ford wants to generate some buzz about a new trim level for the 2013 model — and thus the company has released this single teaser image ahead of an official announcement.

From what we can tell, the truck — which received a heavy refresh for the 2001 model year — will retain its massively bold front grille and overall squared-off design language while possessing enough chrome to make a few rappers jealous. Outside of that, however, we can’t tell much more about what’s behind the curtain.

We also don’t know what the new trim level will be called, but the current range offers the XL, XLT, Lariat, and King Ranch flavors of the F-250, F-350, and F-450 models. Either way, we will get all the details on Friday, March 9 as Ford makes the official announcement with its Professional Bull Riding partner… so we’re probably in for something big, bold, and roomy. Mega cab, anyone?
