SEMA 2013: Ford Fiesta ST By Ice Nine Group Aims To Be The Ultimate Weapon For Any Roadway

This Ford Fiesta ST by Ice Nine Group is what happens when you take a Ford Fiesta ST and set out to create the “ultimate weapon for any choice of roadway”. According to Keith Strong, president of Ice Nine Group, the inspiration for the modified subcompact hot-hatch is a full-on race car for alternative forms of motorsports. The tuning firm worked with rally race car driver Tim O’Neil, and the result is a vehicle displayed at the 2013 SEMA show that has some road some racing and some global rally course in it.

The car features custom-designed fender flares, a carbon fiber hood, a rear wing, a moonroof plug with roof vent, and carbon fiber quarter window plugs with duct vents for added cooling in the cabin. The Fiesta sits on 17-inch BRAID wheels wrapped in Falken Azenis RT615K tires (215/40/R17) and the entire vehicle wears a vinyl wrap and special window tinting from W2 Graphic Specialists.

The Motrolix Take

Come asphalt or high gravel, this ST looks like it can take it. But we would have loved to see some upgrades to the Fiesta’s powertrain.
