SEMA 2013: Nitto Adds More ‘Awesome’ To A Bright Red Ford Mustang

Designed to enhance the natural athleticism of the Ford Mustang, Nitto’s Race Red Mustang Project Car seen at the 2013 SEMA show looks great, and has the performance to back it up. The team added a 3dCarbon body kit to visually lower the car as well as a Classic Design Concepts performance grille to supply the engine and the cooling system all the air it may ever need. The entire package is finished in a custom BASF R-M Onyx Race Red paint with jet black stripes that matches the red Wilwood brake calipers.

Nitto also added some extra oomph to the high-revving and powerful 5.0 liter Coyote V8, including a new intake manifold, Ford Racing Performance Parts 65-millimeter twin-bore throttle body and matching air intake. A Tune Logics calibration makes it all sing.

The hotted-up Stang wears Nitto Tire NT05 performance rubber (surprised?) wrapping Niche Plus A220 three-piece forged wheels.
