Koenigsegg One:1 Supercar Set For Geneva Motor Show Debut

Koenigsegg will officially unveil the insane One:1 supercar at this year’s Geneva Motor Show in March, according to a report from GTspirit. The One:1 will see an extremely limited production run of 6, all of which have been sold already.

A power output of 1400 horsepower from the twin turbo V8 engine and a weight of just 1400 kg (3,086 lbs) gives the car a 1:1 power to weight ratio, hence the name. Additionally, the 1400 kg weight figure includes all water, oil and other fluids needed to run the car, as well as the weight of an average sized driver.

Koenigsegg claims the One:1 will set records for the 0-200 km/h (124 mph),0-300 km/h (0-186 mph) and 0-400 km/h (0-248 mph) sprints for a production car. Koenigsegg engineers predict the One:1 could reach a top speed of above 450 km/h (279 mph), though track length and tire technology are a large contributing factor in actual, real world top speed figures.

The One:1 will also feature a more aggressive front fascia, carbon fiber wheels, and a fixed roof scoop, also made of carbon fiber. At the rear will be a carbon fiber tail fin joining the rear spoiler with the roof.

Look out for more information and pictures of the One:1 to arrive as the 2014 Geneva Motor Show draws closer.
