A Sneak Peak At The New Show “Motor City Masters”

Last October, truTV announced a new automotive show was in the works, and now we finally have an official preview of Motor City Masters. The show will follow ten designers as they create concept cars in three days—normally it’s a three-month endeavor.

Motor City Masters was created by the minds behind the popular TV show Project Runway. It’s hard to tell exactly how good the show will be after viewing the 30-second preview but it appears to have all the necessary reality TV drama you’d expect from a show of this caliber. Camillo Pardo, designer of the Ford GT, makes an appearance in the sneak peak so hopefully we’ll see more of him throughout the season. Jean Jennings of Automobile magazine also is sharing her talents on the show.

Check out the promo below and, to paraphrase Bette Davis, fasten your seatbelts—it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.
