Petersen Museum Introduces New Mustang Exhibit

As many car enthusiasts may know, 2014 is a massive year for the Mustang. Not only has the newest generation of this American classic been officially unveiled to the public, but the beloved ‘Stang is also celebrating fifty years of the original pony car.

In celebration of this milestone, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is opening an exhibit to honor the American icon. Featuring vehicles from every generation of the Mustang, the exhibit includes special iterations like a 1971 Mach 1 with a 429 Cobra Jet, a 2000 Cobra R, and one very special 1965 Ford Mustang drop-top which Ronald Reagan himself drove.

Compiling this batch of Ford’s pony car was no easy task, but Petersen’s efforts will remain available on display for six months, allowing Mustang lovers from all across the world to see these fine examples of Dearborn of history.

Car-enthusiast since birth. British at Heart. Just enjoying the ride!
