What would you do if Swedish hypercar manufacturer Koenigsegg invited you out to their headquarters in Aneglholm, Sweden to come for a ride in their new One:1 hypercar? If you’re anything like us, you drop whatever it is that you’re doing, cancel all your plans and get on the next departing plane to Sweden.
YouTube user Shmee150 recently had that exact opportunity. Koenigseg didn’t just take him out for a ride in the One:1, though. They took him for a full-throttle blast down their runway at 300 km/h and even demonstrated some of the cars handling capabilities at speed with a an extremely smoky and very sideways powerslide.
In case you need reminding, the One:1 earned its name from its 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. The car weighs just 1360 kg (2,998 lbs) and produces 1360 PS (1,341 horsepower) from its twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine. Only 6 of them will ever be made and they’re all sold out, so the video below might just be the closest you’ll ever get to actually riding in one.
