Jaguar’s upcoming XE sedan is set to be introduced in 2016 as a rival to the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. While Jaguar has released technical information on the vehicle, they’ve kept the vehicle’s appearance hidden – until now.
Jaguar has finally released the first photo of the vehicle, which shows the front fascia and grille from a waist-high shot. We can see the familiar oblong grille also found on both the XF and XJ, but smaller. According to InAutoNews, the large red “S” badge on the grille denotes the 3.0L supercharged V6, which can also be found in the F-Type S.
More photos are expected to trickle in between now and September 8 when the XE will be officially unveiled in London.
