2015 Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE700 Makes 717 HP

Those who want a little more from their 2015 Ford Mustang GT, good news: Hennessey Performance Engineering is among the list of tuning companies with a solution for you, with the announcement of the 2015 Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE700.

This Hennessey package incorporates a Roots supercharger – and fuel pump and injection upgrades to support it – along with a stainless exhaust and a different throttle body. A number of cosmetic upgrades help the Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE700 look every bit as mean as it is, featuring big, race-inspired front and rear spoilers, a rear diffuser and front splitter, lightweight 20 inch wheels, and a slew of “Hennessey” and “HPE700” badges.

The end result of all the tinkering with the Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE700 is a peak power output of 717 horsepower, or nearly three-hundred more than stock. Hennessey reports a zero-to-sixty time of 3.6 seconds, and an 11.2 second quarter-mile. With the HPE700 package, Hennessey also provides dyno and road testing, as well as professional installation.

With similar upgrades available from Roush, and a 640 horsepower package from Saleen, we’ll likely be seeing a lot of tuned and decked-out 2015 Mustangs running around soon. But none of them look as angry as the Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE700. Our only wish is that someone would bother to tune the 4-cylinder EcoBoost model.

Why? Because with a factory turbo engine, additional horsepower is a lot more affordable.
