Ken Block Continues To Smash Things At WRC Rally Spain

Ken Block is the only American representing the home team at the World Rally Championship, so he has the eyes of every rally racing fan in the US of A watching him. We know the Ford Fiesta rally racer he romps about in is quite a capable machine, but at Rally Spain he must have wanted to show how durable it was too.

Block rounds the very first corner of the rally stage and completely clips the rear end of his Fiesta racer in a massive oversteer hoonage move. Ken Block, being a trooper, brushes the incident off and pushes onward on the stage. Clearly not the quickest run he was hoping for. Currently, Sebastian Ogier of France is placed in first, and is dominating the competition in his Volkswagen Polo rally racer, 36.6 seconds ahead of the second place driver. Ogier also didn’t smash into any walls, though.

Sean is a staff writer for GM Authority and Motrolix. When's he's not busy taking in local automotive culture, he's probably detailing his car.
