For The Love Of The Game: Man Sells Mustang For World Series Tickets

How desperate do you have to be? A 1965 Mustang is a dime-a-dozen classic, but World Series tickets are scarce. A Kansas City Royals fan is applying basic economic principles to barter a trade between the two products.

The car in question is a Mustang 2+2 restomod with a built 289 and a four-speed stick that is valued at $24,000. Jerod Main’s brood consists of six members including himself, and tickets are going for over $400 a pop. Sure, that doesn’t add up to an even trade, but the Royals fan and his family want to see all the games in both cities.

We don’t know if someone has taken Jerod up on his offer, but we at Motrolix can’t help but feel that our idea of the perfect World Series is to drive a classic to Kansas City and enjoying the game and a beer at a bar outside the stadium.
