2015 F-150 FX4 Gets Muddy While Off-Roading In Texas

Our friends over at the TFL Truck recently had the chance to drive an all-new 2015 F-150 FX4. While enjoying a day in the mud, the guys compared the new F-150 to the Raptor and Toyota’s Tundra TRD Pro.

The video shows footage from an invitation-only driving event showcasing the all-new truck during which Ford set up a muddy off-road course to showcase the capability of its new, lighter full-size truck. Having dropped 70 pounds from the frame and nearly 700 pounds overall from the crew cab model, the new F-150 handled the trail in style, while the guys checked out some of the truck’s new off-road-specific features like the 360-degree camera and other amenities, like the enormous moonroof that runs from the front to the rear.

In the end, the FX4 continues to be a great offroad package, but those looking for more offroad prowess should wait for Ford to finish developing the new Raptor.
