Audi Shows Its Love For The Station Wagon With ‘Audi Exclusive’ RS6 Avant

Audi seems to latch onto ideas pretty strongly. Every car they’ve made has been all-wheel drive since they discovered the whole Quattro thing in the late 70s, and they’ve never once given up on the idea of a cool, stylish station wagon, even if consumers have slowly edged the body style out in favor of SUVs and crossovers.

The Audi station wagon is still very much alive today in the way of the RS4 and RS6 Avant. But if that already uncommon car isn’t exclsuive enough for you, you can have Audi Exclusive do it up in whatever exterior and interior colors your heart desires.

The latest RS6 Avant to emerge from the Audi Exclusive skunkworks is a Matte Grey example featured by GTspirit. The unique exterior finish is complimented by a carbon fiber lip, rear diffuser and mirror caps, along with gloss black alloy wheels. Inside, black leather is draped over the seats, steering wheel, gear lever and dashboard, accented by contrasting yellow stitching.

Despite the exclusive paint, exterior and interior touches, this RS6 Avant retains the stock 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, seven-speed S-tronic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive system. Not that it’s a bad thing, as the powertrain pumps 552 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque out to all-four wheels.
