Ford F-150 Nominated For Best Truck Of The Year Award By Cars.com

We’re squarely in the heat of the automotive awards season, and it comes to us as no surprise that the all-new 2015 Ford F-150 is up for yet another prize, as it was nominated for Cars.com Best Truck of the Year award.

Can it win? Well, according to Pickuptrucks.com editor and Cars.com judge Mark Williams, the truck has a “definite resetting of the bar”.

The new F-150 already has several trophies to its credit, with the new truck being a big favorite among publications. For instance, it was just named the Detroit Free Press Truck of the Year, the official vehicle of the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show and the Grand Winner of What’s New by Popular Science. And on top of all that, the new F-150 has also been nominated for the prestigious North American Truck of the Year title (which it has a really good chance of winning).

Seems like great news for Ford and F-150 fans alike. And that’s not to mention whatever Ford has up its sleeve with EcoBeast or the next-gen F-150 Raptor (or Rock Crawler).
