Pair Your Lamborghini With The Official Lambo 88 Tauri Smartphone

The rise of technology gave way to an ever-revolving door of what’s in and what’s out. Staying trendy is key, and the thinner the device and the bigger the screen, the better it is by default. The luxo smartphone game is a little different, and more high-end automakers are crafting one-off devices to match their owners’ pompous checkbooks. Enter the 88 Tauri.

With tech specs equivalent to its road-going counterparts, the 88 Tauri phone’s aesthetics are pleasing and reflect what the Lamborghini brand is known for: bold design. Unlike many luxury smartphones, the 88 Tauri lacks the elegance and finesse usually standard in these commodities. Instead, it trades those two elements for a unique design.

The materials aim of the 88 Tauri reflect those found on a production Lamborghini, with the device being encased in real steel that can be finished in black, gold or steel. Real leather surrounds the steel accents and may be had in the same colors found in your favorite charging bull, including black, blue, red, orange and brown.

Inside, the phone has a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor that’s on par with most modern phones, but we hope that the software is optimized well-enough to take advantage of all that processing power. And now we arrive at the real kicker.

Prepare to drop $6,000 on your own personal 88 Tauri Lamborghini smartphone, and prepare to move quickly. Only 1,947 samples of the 88 Tauri will be produced. If that number sounds oddly familiar, that’s because it happens to be the year Lamborghini founder Tonino Lamborghini was born.

But if $6,000 is all you have, just think that it’s much cheaper than actually owning (and maintaining) a real Lamborghini. Though, it won’t sound nearly as delightful.
