Arizona Volkswagen Club Fixes Vandalized VW Van For Elderly Woman: Video

A now, for a heartwarming story to brighten your day. A few days after Thanksgiving, a security camera caught four males in Arizona approaching a 1960s-era Volkswagen van owned by an elderly woman named Ann. The camera shows the four boys throwing rocks and smashing the windows of the vintage van. A few nights later, the same vandals returned and repeated the process, smashing windows they had previously missed.

Ann had no other form of transportation and no way of making a living. Thankfully Jesus Aguilera, a member of the Arizona Volkswagen Bus Club, learned about the incident on Facebook and got to work. When he was finished, the AZ Volkswagen Club and Tucson Mob Squad had donated thousands of dollars to purchase and install new glass windows in Ann’s van, parts that aren’t exactly readily available due to the van’s age.

Now, the bus is back to its original condition. All we’re waiting for is an update stating that the vandals have been caught.

Editor’s note: the following video showing the fixed van along with Mr. Aguilera might not play well with some mobile and tablet devices.
