New Ford Focus RS Teased, Hooning About With Ken Block: Video

If you weren’t excited before about the US-bound Ford Focus RS, perhaps you were in a coma, or clinically dead.

No matter; you should be excited now.

The new Ford Performance division is trumpeting an all-new, all-wheel drive Ford Focus RS with the same 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine as in the EcoBoost Mustang – only reportedly, it’s been dialed up another 15-plus horsepower, to land somewhere between 325 and 350 HP.

The video below is a teaser released by Ford which shows the new Ford Focus RS hooning about in the hands of rally legend Ken Block. The new AWD system going into this car ought to lend itself to a more even front-to-rear torque split than existing Ford AWD systems. And, as we’ve said before, it’s perfectly okay to speculate that it could land itself in other future products – a.k.a. a Fiesta RS?

Watch the new Ford Focus RS slide about every which way in the teaser below ahead of its February 3rd reveal. Just try and keep your blood pressure down.
