This Is The 2015 Volkswagen Caddy

Feast your eyes on the 2015 Volkswagen Caddy. Revealed just ahead of the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the revised van brings updates to the exterior, interior, and engines of an already-successful formula.

On the outside, the MK5 Golf-based Caddy features VW’s newest corporate design language for a fresh look at all four corners. Updates to the design include a new front fascia with a larger grille flanked by restyled headlights, a new rear bumper, redesigned tail-lamps, and reworked tailgate. However, the most notable changes take place inside the compact van.

The 2015 Caddy’s cabin includes a brand new dashboard and center stack complete with revised switchgear and door panels. Interestingly, a flat-bottom steering wheel is offered on upper trim levels of the 2015 VW Caddy. The new wheel is joined by accents color-coordinated from the interior. And though Volkswagen has yet to release specifics, the latest versions of Discover Media, Composition Media and Composition Color infotainment systems seem to also be available for the revised van.

The 2015 Caddy will also offer a variety of engines under the hood. Three turbocharged gasoline engines ranging in displacement from 1.0 to 1.4 liters will be available; VW’s 1.0-liter three-cylinder TSI motor makes 102 PS (75 kW), the 1.2-liter four-cylinder TSI makes 84 PS (62 kW), and the 1.4-liter four-cylinder TSI makes 125 PS (92 kW). In addition, four turbo-diesel motors will range in output from 75 PS (55 kW) to 150 PS (110 kW).

The 2015 Volkswagen Caddy will have a starting price of €14,785, or $16,778 USD (converted), and European availability will begin this June. The Caddy is, unfortunately, not available in North America.
