Corsa’s 2015 Ford Mustang Exhaust System Is Music To The Ears: Video

We wouldn’t be amiss to say that it is truly difficult to find a Ford Mustang GT with the 5.0L Coyote motor that doesn’t sound good. Even so, Corsa did a great job in designing an exhaust system that would allow drivers to appreciate the wonderful sounds of Ford’s mighty five liter without having to go half deaf in the process.

Corsa gives buyers two choices of Mustang exhaust systems with interchangeable components to get just the right exhaust note from the 2015 Mustang GT. First up is a 3-inch double x-pipe that flows twenty-three percent better than stock, according to Corsa. Next is the axle-back, which flows forty-six percent better than stock, and features two mufflers that have a straight-through design along with Corsa’s patented Reflective Sound Cancellation technology to eliminate drone. Combined, these two finely-crafted components create a great-sounding exhaust note, while also reducing the Mustang’s weight by 12 pounds and increasing the flow rate by a total of forty-eight percent. Both the double x-pipe, and the axle-back include a 2.75 inch adapter so that they may be used with the stock exhaust components.

In the video, the Mustang only has the axle-back installed. Still, the pony has an aggressive tone that we really enjoy, though we admit to being slightly partial to the roar of a Mustang fitted with both the x-pipe and axle-back.
