More photos of the next-generation B9 Audi A4 sedan have surfaced online ahead of the model’s debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany this September. These photos were first brought to our attention by Autoevolution, who came across them on Chinese car message board Autohome.com.cn.
The most interesting photo is of the new A4’s front end, showing a redesigned front headlamp and more angular bodylines, along with Audi’s new singleframe grille. Another picture shows a portion of the new A4’s dashboard, which appears to follow the same design philosophy as the recently introduced 2015 Q7 crossover.
The 2016 A4 is expected to arrive with Audi’s 2.0-liter, 1.4- and 1.8-liter gasoline engines, along with a selection of diesel powerplants. It will also ride on Audi’s updated MLB ‘evo’ architecture, which should enable a weight reduction of around 200 lbs.
