New 2016 Lincoln Continental Concept: Hot Or Not?

Despite having picked up some murmurings of a rumored reboot to the historic Lincoln Continental nameplate, we were somewhat surprised to see those murmurings corroborated by the concept pictured above.

The 2016 Lincoln Continental concept, revealed just ahead of the New York International Auto Show, closely represents the car that will be put into production to replace the current Lincoln MKS. Whether it ends up being called “Continental” is a detail yet to be sorted; Bentley, of course, already has their own namesake car.

Regardless, how do we feel about the styling? It’s certainly bolder and more impending than the current-generation MKS, with a much more timeless general shape, as well. But does the 2016 Lincoln Continental concept in-fact too closely resemble a Bentley to stand on its own? Is it even a good design regardless?

While our own staff could go back and forth on such questions, we’re more interested in what you readers have to say about the new Lincoln Continental concept.
