Regular Cars ‘Reviews’ The 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost: Video

The 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost marks the first return to a turbocharged four-cylinder engine since the Fox-body Mustang of the eighties, although plenty of enthusiasts take umbrage with such a “pedestrian” powerplant appearing between the front haunches of the mighty ‘Stang.

Here to see if there’s any merit to the collective outcries is Regular Cars, who cozied up behind the wheel of a new 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost in Pittsburgh.

Of course, turning to Regular Car Reviews for your automotive news is rather like turning to toaster pastries for nutrition; you’ll find some, but it’s typically best to look elsewhere. But in this case, the reviewer does leave us with some useful opinions relating to the 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost. That it’s quite torquey enough in the higher reaches of the rev range for public roads, for example, and that the rear headroom and legroom prove insufficient for his 6-foot-3 friend Tim (go figure).

Nonetheless, we can’t help but feel as though we came out of this video knowing very little more about the 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost than when we came in. Oh well; at least it’s entertaining.
