2015 Lincoln Navigator Wins ‘Best Value In America’

If you’re looking for a new luxury SUV, the automotive data analysis firm Vincentric might recommend the 2015 Lincoln Navigator; the premium utility vehicle was just awarded the firm’s “Best Value in America” award for 2015.

To come by this conclusion, Vincentric compiled data for every entry in the Premium Large SUV segment, including original purchase price, cost of ownership (incorporating everything from maintenance to fueling), financing, rebates, incentives – basically the whole shebang. Obviously, these factors will vary somewhat based on the place of purchase and how the vehicle is used.

At the end of the data, the 2015 Lincoln Navigator won largely by virtue of its best-in-class towing capacity of 9,000 pounds (when properly outfitted), and its 3.5-liter EcoBoost turbocharged V6 engine. That EcoBoost churns out an impressive 380 HP on 93-octane, and the Navigator still manages to return the best fuel economy in its class: 22 mpg on the highway, 18 mpg combined.

Beyond the nod from Vincentric, the 2015 Lincoln Navigator also has the honor of being the sole Premium Large Utility to be named one of “2015’s Best Bets” by The Car Book, and a 5-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA.
