Audi USA has appointed its former Director, Customer Experience, Jerri Ward, as its new Chief Communications Officer. The automaker says Ward will lead its U.S. publication relations efforts as the brand’s “record setting growth story,” continues to unfold in the coming years.
Ward first joined Audi of America in 2007 after launching her career in powertrain engineering at General Motors. She was appointed to the Customer Experience team and has held her most recent role since 2011. Audi says she has “successfully improved customer experience performance to record highs,” during her tenure and has been “instrumental in the transformation of Audi over the past eight years.”
Ward, a New Baltimore, MI native, will become effective in her new role on May 1st. According to Audi, her appointment will allow their “long-term strategic goal of continuously improving the Audi customer experience” to expand throughout the company’s different sectors.
