Bangkok Has A Lamborghini Gallardo Taxi

It seems like Bangkok is a bit jealous of the Lamborghini Gallardos and Aventadors employed by the police forces in United Arab Emirates and Indonesia. To change the negative sentiment, it appears that the Thai capital has decided to acquire a Gallardo of its own.

But unlike Lambos in Dubai, the Thai Gallardo wasn’t acquired to hunt down law-breaking supercar owners. Instead, it seems that tourists in the capital city of Bangkok, the most populous city in the country, have the luxury of hailing down a Lamborghini Gallardo taxi.

Like New York city, the streets of Bangkok, whose population is 8.5 million, are filled with taxis shuffling tourists around. Though tight on space and occupancy, a Gallardo taxi probably wouldn’t have to sit at a taxi stand very long before finding a fare. And while its more than likely that this particular owner merely wrapped or painted his Gallardo in the typical green and yellow colors of a Thai taxi, even attaching a light bar on the roof, we’re truly hoping that this is the real deal… as absurd as it may be. And we also hope that whoever is doing the recording turns their device sideways (landscape) before hitting the record button next time.
