Porsche AG Is Among The Most Desired Workplaces In Germany, Surveys Say

According to a release from the automaker, two different surveys have recognized Porsche AG as one of the most desirable employers in the country of Germany, for those seeking careers in the fields of Engineering, Economics, and Information Technology.

A study by the Universum Institute – a global employment research body – found that Porsche AG ranked third in Germany among not only those with a concentration in Engineering, but those with a focus on Economics, as well. That puts the marque just behind both BMW, and sister brand Audi, in both categories. IT Professionals rated Porsche AG as the number ten employer in that field.

Meanwhile, Europe’s Trendence Research Institute reached exactly the same conclusions, putting Porsche AG in third among Engineers and Economists, again behind Audi and BMW. With respect to the marque’s Trendence ratings, it managed to improve two spots from last year in the field of Economics; 2014’s results placed the automaker in fifth place.

As for Porsche AG’s placement among employers for IT Professionals, it rose three spots this year, again to tenth place.
