U.S. Porsche dealers delivered 4,291 new vehicles in March 2015, up 12.7 percent compared to March 2014.
The Volkswagen Auto Group-owned performance luxury vehicle maker attributes the healthy performance to strong momentum built up in 2014, but the sales number paint a slightly different picture — as sales of all Porsche vehicles were down on a year-over-year basis except for the new Macan. The volume leaders continue to be the Cayenne and Macan, selling 1,364 and 1,180 units, respectively, but the automaker is also seeing a healthy order intake for the new GT models.
Porsche has closed the first quarter of 2015 with 11,430 total sales, yielding a growth of 12.8 percent in comparison to the same period in 2014.
