Special Porsche Panamera Edition Is Coming Soon

Okay, you caught us; our headline lies. There are, in fact, three new special Porsche Panamera Editions inbound to dealers near you.

The sleek new Porsche Panamera Edition (and Panamera 4 Edition) each get a plucky V6 putting out around 310 HP, while the Panamera Diesel Edition will produce slightly less, at 300 HP. That means that the first two Editions mentioned are only marginally more potent than the base Panamera and Panamera 4 V6 models, but the Diesel Edition gets a considerable 50 HP bump.

Stylistically, the special Porsche Panamera Edition boasts appropriately subtle design touches, such as glossy new trim strips along the side windows, and 19-inch Panamera Turbo II design alloy wheels with painted Porsche crests. Inside, owners will be welcomed by a Sport Design steering wheel, Porsche Panamera Edition-exclusive floor mats and door sill badging, and best of all, a delicious two-tone leather scheme consisting of Black, and Luxor Beige.

The new, special Porsche Panamera Editions will be slightly country-specific, as well. In China, for instance, the typical rear seats will be replaced with separated comfort seats, in case the owner prefers to be chauffeured. The US, meanwhile, gets 14-way comfort seats in the front, and seat-heating in both the front and rear.

While no pricing information is yet known for the Porsche Panamera Edition, we ought to be able to make an educated guess soon enough; the car comes to market in Germany starting in June.
