Audi Cup To Host Matches Between Real Madrid CF And FC Bayern München

Audi is hosting the fourth installment of its biennial Audi Cup at the Munich Allianz Arena in Germany this coming August, with four matches between four different teams scheduled to take place over two days. The automaker has confirmed two of the teams to play the mini-tournament will be are FC Bayern München and Real Madrid CF, with the other two competitors being announced at a later date.

The Audi Cup was first held in 2009 in celebration of the automaker’s 100th anniversary, but is now held every two years in preparation for the start of the European soccer season. This year, two semi-final matches will be held between the four teams on August 4, with the championship game occurring on August 5 along with the consolation match between the two losers of the first matches.

The winner of the tournament will receive a 60 centimeter tall aluminum trophy designed by Audi. If you’re interested in going, one-day tickets start at 20 Euros and can be purchased at www.audicup.com.
