Magnus Walker Visits Porsche Night At London’s Ace Café: Video

Very recently, renegade Porsche tuner and “Urban Outlaw” Magnus Walker stopped by the famous Ace Café in London. But it was neither drink nor atmosphere that compelled his visit; it was a gathering of local Porsche enthusiasts, who came with their myriad different 911 models, air-cooled and water-cooled alike, to celebrate what is truly a unique family of car owners.

The video below from Porsche features Magnus Walker as he talks through just what it is that makes Porsche ownership so special. In the end, it comes down to the simple fact that when one buys a Porsche, one isn’t just buying a machine; they’re buying into a global brotherhood.

“Doesn’t matter where you are in the world, you know. It’s almost like if you speak ‘Porsche,’ you’ve got a friend somewhere,” says Mr. Magnus Walker. “Separate of the drive, that is truly the unique thing about the Porsche marque.”

What is hands-down the greatest thing about an event like that depicted is the truly awesome breadth of cars that turn up. They may all be Porsches, and nearly all of the 911 variety at that, but from bone stock to thoroughly tuned and modified, no two of these cars are exactly alike.
