2015 Ford Edge Kicks Off A Brand New Ad Campaign: Ad Break

The all-new 2015 Ford Edge will finally be promoted in digital, print, and television spots by a new campaign which launched late last week. The first instalment of this campaign, a TV ad entitled “Odds,” can be seen in the video below.

Set to the popular track “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten, this first 2015 Ford Edge advertisement sets the theme for the rest of the campaign to follow: feeling “unstoppable.” A release from the automaker describes this emotional connection as integral to attracting the new 2015 Ford Edge’s target demographics. Says Ford Marketing Comm. Manager for Trucks and Utility Vehicles Travis Calhoun: “Edge buyers want to conquer life, not just geography. They want to be unstoppable, and they want the right SUV that helps them feel empowered – every day, everywhere.”

He continued: “The all-new Edge defines utility in an urban environment for Ford. It provides us with an opportunity to showcase the Edge customer having the confidence to handle whatever the day brings – whether that’s an experience in the city or a weekend adventure.”

The automaker states that historically, the Edge SUV has proven especially successful with women buyers; they have no reason to suspect that trend won’t continue with the new 2015 Ford Edge. It’s also worth noting that sales of the Edge were up an astonishing 78 percent in April 2015, compared to April of the previous year.

If this “Be Unstoppable” ad campaign for the refined, redesigned 2015 Ford Edge is as effective as the automaker anticipates, the vehicle’s sales volume might be just that: unstoppable.
