U.S. Mini dealers delivered 5,833 new vehicles in May 2015, a 1.8 percent increase compared to May 2014.
In addition, Mini sales for the first five months of 2015 have grown 28 percent to 24,086 units.
May 2015 notes (vs. May 2014, except as noted):
- Paceman up 47 percent to 251 units
- Cooper hardtop 4-door was responsible for 1,578 sales
- Sales of all other Mini models were down on a year-over-year basis
- Pre-Owned Mini sales results:
- Sales of Mini Next — Mini’s certified pre-owned vehicles — totaled 1,100 vehicles in May 2015, up 40.3 percent over May 2014
- Mini Next sales for the first five months of 2015 were up 28.7 percent to 4,632 cars over the same period in 2014
- Total sales of Mini Pre-Owned vehicles were 2,591 cars in May 2015, an increase of 13.5 percent from May 2014
- Total MINI Pre-Owned sales for the first five months of 2015 were up 1.3 percent to 10,549 units
