Ferrari recently put the finishing touches on their 488 GTB, the turbocharged replacement for the instant classic that was the 458 Italia. As such, the automaker invited all the world’s major magazines out to Maranello to sample their latest offering on both their Fiorano test track and the exquisite Italian roads surrounding their factory.
Motor Trend was included in that wave of media members (as was Chris Harris) and decided the outing would make a perfect episode of Ignition. Former host of the web series Carlos Lago recently jumped ship at Motor Trend for Edmunds, so Angus Mackenzie got to hop on a plane and head out to Ferrari’s North Italy-based HQ.
