Porsche 911 GT3, Nissan 350Z Procharger Humiliated On The Autobahn: Video

Ah, the Autobahn. The Western Hemisphere has yet to build its equal – a freeway with no posted speed limit, where man and machine can together explore their highest coincidental pace in kilometers per unit time.

But although we in the US lack a proper analogue, we imagine that not one of us would be surprised to learn what goes on there: tomfoolery, and lots of it.

The video below, posted to YouTube by one “SzwejkTV,” shows an instance of such tomfoolery, wherein a driver in a Porsche 911 GT3, and one in a Nissan 350Z, go head-to-head in a rolling-start battle of the accelerator. The Porsche 911 GT3 comes from the factory with around 475 horsepower, to the Nissan’s 305, give or take.

But this particular Z-car, according to the video, has been fitted with a Procharger kit, likely unlocking as much as 400+ horsepower for the Nissan to play around with. Between the supercharged Nissan, and the already-ballistic Porsche 911 GT3, that’s enough combined power output to really get the heart pumping – even if we already know the winner in advance.

… Or do we? Because while the Nissan and the Porsche battle it out on the high speed Autobahn freeway, something rockets forward from the back of the pack and embarrasses both supercars – something you’d never in a thousand years imagine shaming these high horsepower titans.

We won’t spoil it for you. Just watch the video, and suspend your disbelief.
