Production Rezvani Beast Is An Ariel Atom With A Sleek Carbon Fiber Body

If you’ve never heard of Rezvani, we don’t blame you. The first we first heard of the boutique supercar manufacturer was in March of last year when the automaker teased its first-ever model, the ‘Beast’. It later showed off a finalized design in May, but remained quiet in regards to the car afterward.

We now know why Rezvani has kept quiet for the last year or so. The company was busy putting the finishing touches on the production version of the Beast, which it has officially debuted this week. The Orange County, CA based automaker says the Ariel Atom-based Beast “gives new meaning to the lightweight, high-performance sports car,” and is built “with the driver in mind.”

Thanks to the lightweight and proven Atom chassis and its full carbon fiber body panels, the Beast tips the scales at just 1,650 pounds. That’s not a whole lot of weight for the 500 horsepower compound-charged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine to lug around, and the result is 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds and top speed of 165 mph. The motor is connected to a six-speed manual transmission, keeping with the Rezvani’s driver-focused philosophy for the Beast.

Occupants of the Beast’s interior will be greeted with an abundance of carbon fiber. The dash, steering wheel and seats are all finished in exposed carbon, as is the slick-looking manual shifter. It’s not all race-inspired minimalism, though, as an infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay is present.

If you’re interested, Rezvani says the order books are now open with prices starting at $165,000. You won’t have to wait years for your car to be delivered either, as the automaker promises it can have your Beast fully built in just 8-12 weeks.
