2017 Audi RS4 Avant Expertly Rendered

Last week Audi pulled the veil from the highly anticipated B9-generation A4, but the high performance RS and station wagon Avant variants have yet to be seen. Normally we’d have to sit tight until Audi unveiled both cars, however thanks to this well done rendering courtesy of our friends at Top Speed, we can get a sneak peak at both future models.

In Top Speed’s eyes, the next-gen RS 4 Avant will have a similar front fascia to the Audi RS 3 Sportback, along with the same wheels and other unique RS features. Rumors indicate the model will be powered by some type of twin-turbocharged V6, which should produce over 500 horsepower so as to remain competitive in the company of the 500+ horsepower Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG or Alfa Romeo Giulia QV.

The 2016 Audi A4 Avant is expected to debut sometime next year, with initial deliveries likely commencing in late 2016 or early 2017. In the meantime, enjoy the renderings above and be sure to check back for more news on the next-generation performance compact.
