Forza Motorsport 6 Is Shipping With The Entire Formula E Field

For those who happen to be fans of both open-wheel racing and the Forza Motorsport series for the Microsoft XBox, some great news has arrived: the newest forthcoming instalment of the series will include plenty of open-wheel racing cars, up to and including every car from the FIA Formula E Championship.

The FIA Formula E Championship, for the unacquainted, is a racing series reserved for open-wheel race cars with pure-electric powertrains. It launched in 2014, with all teams utilizing the same Spark-Renault SRT 01E car for the first season.

Season two has seen the development of an additional nine pure-electric open-wheel racers, all of which will be appearing in Forza Motorsport 6 alongside the Spark-Renault. Of course, these ten cars make up just a fraction of the 450 total cars which will appear in the latest Forza Motorsport instalment at launch, only some of which were announced at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
