The Porsche 918 Spyder was carefully engineered to be a perfect balance between a drivable, efficient hybrid and a track-ready hypercar ready to tackle the Nurburgring at the drop of a hat. The shirtless bro in the video below doesn’t care about either of those things, though, he just wants to impress his friends.
Unfortunately for him, he’s not very good at impressing people. Which is sad, because all you really have to do to impress people when you own a Porsche 918 Spyder is drive it slowly so they see you, yet he fails at even this simple task. Rather than acting like a responsible human being, he floors the gas in a parking lot and nearly takes out a group of pedestrians. Embarrassing, right? Well it gets worse.
After narrowly avoiding his fellow St. Tropez partiers, our shirtless protagonist appears to forget how to use the brakes and slams the six-figure hypercar into a row of trees, damaging the car’s front end and delivering an equally as harmful blow to his pride.
Normally at this point we’d say something like “let’s hope the rare hypercar can be fixed,” but in this case, we’re not so sure if we do. It seems “let’s hope someone takes the car away from this shirtless bro before he kills himself or someone else,” is a bit more fitting.
