Bugatti Chiron’s Violently Brawny Exhaust Note Teased: Video

We’ve been scooping up any scraps of new information – however small they may be – about the future successor to the rule-breaking, physics-defying Bugatti Veyron ever since it was announced that there would in fact be one. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been much of anything we could really sink our teeth into.

Chances are, the people at Bugatti Automobiles are keenly aware of how impatiently you, I, and the rest of the car-loving world are waiting for some substantial information about the forthcoming Bugatti Chiron. We’d wager that’s precisely why they’ve put out this 35-second teaser trailer, keeping us on the hook by offering just the slightest amount of gratification in the form of a dark, violent exhaust note.

Warning: It will send shivers down your spine.

The Bugatti Chiron’s intimidating roar doesn’t come in until about the 30-second mark in the video below, with the seconds prior occupied by some frustratingly vague voiceover narration about the hunt for speed, instinct, the passage of time, yadda yadda. Nor do we get to see much of anything, either, the video being simply composed of an almost hypnotic road passing beneath our feet, overlaid with some lens flare, smoke, rain, and lightning at different points.

We’d love to say it hasn’t worked. We’d love to say that this teaser video for the forthcoming Bugatti Chiron is the straw which broke the camel’s back, catapulting us from eagerly awaiting any and all news, to being utterly disinterested in the whole darn affair.

But that would be a lie.
