Just In Case You Missed The Roadkill vs. Gas Monkey Hellcat Drag Race: Video

Just in case you missed the recent Hellcat drag race between the hosts of Motor Trend magazine’s Roadkill series, and the folks from Gas Monkey Garage (from Discovery’s popular Fast N’ Loud program), here it is.

The Hellcat drag race between these two well-known hot rod groups took place outside the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan, at the first-ever “Roadkill Nights” event in August. Roadkill and Gas Monkey each built Dodge Hellcat-powered vehicles to drive against each other in a test of raw, straight-line acceleration, with Roadkill putting a custom 1968 Charger up against Gas Monkey’s 1967 Dodge Dart.

Spoiler alert: Gas Monkey Garage’s Dart just about blew the doors off of Roadkill‘s Charger.

The Hellcat drag race was all in good fun, of course. To prove it, the folks at Gas Monkey Garage sent someone around to Roadkill‘s offices to deliver a couple of gift bags, although admittedly, the olive branch was a bit of a tongue-in-cheek gesture

All we can think to say to the Roadkill guys is: better luck next time?
